The Villas used to be our family’s own houses where we used to enjoy the endless, sweet Greek summer. A true haven, they were designed to comfortably accommodate our big family, in an eclectic environment.
The residences have now been renovated to cater for the needs of Santorini visitors who seek a home away from home feel and to experience the subtler, but more telling characteristics of Santorini Island.
Aegagros Caldera Houses is a complex of 5 traditional Villas and one Cave Studio, at 5.000m2 stand-alone estate, located at one of Santorini’s most beautiful spots: the outskirts of the picturesque village of Megalochori, at the south-eastern part of Santorini. True to the concept of Greek hospitality, “philoxenia” as narrated by Homer, we offer a kind of stay that evolves around everything heart-warming, generous, and in the pursuit of Good and Joyful.

Faithful to the true spirit of Santorini, all residences draw on the traditional architectural style of the island: vaulted ceilings and plaster walls, the handmade tiles, volcano stone tables and marble sinks; everything gracefully complemented with touches of traditional interior design elements, such as white laced linen and antique furniture. The spaces are light-filled and designed for an easy, relaxed stay.
Relish the phenomenal view to the Aegean Sea and the Santorini volcano from you balcony or terrace, as all residences offer unobstructed views. Surrounded by gardens and vineyards, the terraces feature shady spots for you to take in the beauty.

Aegagros Caldera Houses offers onsite private parking, which is free of charge, making accessibility very easy. You will appreciate this amenity as it is rare in Santorini.
LOCATED AT A FAMOUS WINE VILLAGE
Aegagros Caldera Houses is located at the south estern part of Santorini Island, at the outskirts of the traditional Megalochori village. The village, only a 5 minute walk away from the premises, is strikingly beautiful and well preserved, exhuming the authentic Santorini spirit. It is also world famous for its exceptional, unique wine. That is why, besides the blue-dome churches, maze-like narrow streets and wonderfully pretty main square, Megalochori Village also features important major wineries. At Megalochori you will, also, find renowned restaurants and local taverns, accessible from the premises on foot. For your daily supplies, there is also a bakery and a grocery shop.
