In queste tre settimane trascorse presso Aegagros abbiamo potuto apprezzare le stanze ampie e arredate con gusto, le belle terrazze con una vista eccezionale, le ottime colazioni e le cene preparate da Nila con cura e con stile, il giardino e le viti supervisionati dal gentilissimo Ilias e, last but not least, l’incredibile e rilassante quiete . Grazie ancora di cuore a tutto il team dell’Aegagros per questi fantastici giorni, che ci mancheranno sicuramente!
We had a wonderful stay at the Aegagros. Our family of 9 stayed at 2 of the villas. The kids absolutely loved the breakfast and kept themselves entertained pretty well at the property. The sunset dinner at the restaurant was absolutely amazing.
Es war wunderbar. Wir haben die Tage sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr aufmerksam und wir wurden sehr gut betreut. Ein Highlight war jeden Morgen das Frühstück! Die Aussicht ist herrlich und wir haben jeden Abend den Sonneuntergang von der Terasse aus genossen. Vielen lieben Dank für die schöne Zeit und die Gastfreundlichkeit.
Aegagros Caldera Houses was exceptional and we really enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of Vangelis and rest of the staff. They were exceptional. The view from Aegagros is spectacular and we probably had the best view from our room as well. I need to give a special mention of Elias who was the stewart who set the breakfast for us in the morning. He and his wife were awesome and cooked a wonderful dinner the last night we were at the property. Fantastic experience and recommend the property to anyone who wants a restful, hospitable environment.
This has been my second year in a row at Aegagros and I loved it even more this time around! I don’t know where to begin, but it feels like my home. I am so comfortable there, that it is almost surreal. It is an escape to a peaceful/restful oasis with the most spectacular view EVER! The overall hospitality and the cuisine served there is beyond what I can explain. Wir waren zu dritt bei Euch und durften eine Woche entspannen. Es ist schon toll, wenn einem auf der eigenen Terrasse das Essen serviert wird – zu Hause haben wir leider keinen eigenen Butler. Die grandiose Aussicht hat uns davon abgehalten, auswärts essen zu gehen… Vielen Dank dem ganzen Team!
We had a wonderful stay of almost a week at Aegagros Caldera Houses in May 2018. So happy we booked this place, a short stroll from the uncrowded village of Megalochori, in what is without any doubt the better part of the island, near to Pyrgos (a nice 35 minutes rural walk along vineyards) and Acrotiri (catch the local bus). Every day we enjoyed the comfort of our house and bed, the wide view from our terrace, and the delicious home made food – especially the copious breakfast, the most delicately gourmet morning treat that can possibly be found in this world. Thanks to Katerina, Neela and Elias for their warm attention which made our stay an unforgettable experience!
This place is truly one of a kind! The staff is amazing. They take care of everything for you from booking transfers and renting cars, to offering their recommendations on what to do. They do this on a personal, face to face basis. And don’t get me started on the breakfast they prepare for you! I have dietary allergies and they made an amazing breakfast, just for me, every morning! The grounds are amazing, the views breathtaking and they truly treat you as part of the family. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! You will not be disappointed staying here!
I’ve Been in Aegagros with My Family and our dog Mia in August 2018 and we’ve Passed 10 unforgetable days in Aegagros Houses!!! The sunset view is somenthing magic!! Anastasia was always very nice with us and disponible. The “staff” of Aegagros is Super specially Helias !! The restaurant service is very good!! Lo scrivo anche in Italiano: Soni stato ad Aegagros con la mia famiglia e il nostro cane Mia in vacanza per 10 giorni . È stata una vacanza meravigliosa grazie (oltre al bellissimo posto dal quale si possono ammirare tramonti mozzafiato) anche alla gentilezza e massima disponibilità di Anastasia!! Il suo staff è efficientissimo!! Ci siamo affezionati in particolare ad Helias che ogni giorno ci portava delle colazioni buonissime!! Il ristorante merita perché oltre alla location si mangia veramente bene!!
We spent three nights at Aegagros, in a beautiful open space villa very tastefully decorated and provided with all comforts: we had the best time ever. The view from our veranda was the most breathtaking (we enjoyed every sunset there, in a quiet, suggestive and unique atmosphere, far from the busy crowd we saw elsewhere). Every breakfast was a lovely home-made surprise, and dinner at the restaurant (where it is possible to book fresh seasonal food in the morning) was the most relaxing and tasty experience (a magic combination of lovely food, incredible view and coziness) we also really enjoyed the Aegagros Vin Santo and wine ( home-made from the house vineyard). Our host was always very helpful and kind: she made us feel at home all the time. Staying at Aegagros is a great different way to enjoy Santorini : we surely hope to go back.
